Be scared and do it anyway. – Fannie-Lee Lowe

Alright folks, I’m going to cut straight to it on this one. It’s time to step up and take responsibility. You have a goal, what are you doing to get there? What are the steps you are taking right now to reach (and one day exceed) that goal? If your answer is nothing then it’s time for a change in mindset. There’s no such thing as the perfect plan, workout, diet, or product. The best strategy is to start right now and learn as you go.

Nothing I have ever done in life has been anywhere near perfect. I’ve made more mistakes than I want to admin (but will in a future blog post) but I kept going. For years, fear of failure and embarrassment kept me from chasing what I wanted in life. Look, I’ve been where you are right at this very moment. You want to lose the weight, get that great job, finish that degree or start that business. You’re afraid of failing and looking like a screw-up, right?

It’s easy to sit on the sidelines and call other people out, we do it all the time when we are spectators in any competition. The hard part is getting in the arena and testing yourself against the challenges, doubt, fear, and uncertainty. It’s not going to be perfect, get over it and move forward. Get moving, we’re not guaranteed tomorrow.

To your lifelong health and success,
